As an undergraduate at Cornell University, Julia spent most of her time learning about global warming and torturing plants in the name of science. After graduation, she worked for a marine conservation nonprofit in DC. She loved her job but decided it paid too well, so she came to Boston University's Science Journalism program to spread environmental science to the masses.
